Salisbury City Rotaract Club wishes to acknowledge the land of which we serve the community is that of the Kaurna Nation. We recognise the strength and resilience of the Kaurna people and First Nations' people everywhere.

We also acknowledge and pay our respect to Elders Past and Living today as the Custodians of this ancient land. We recognise past traumas, some of which occurred not too long ago that still have an effect today.
We all have a responsibility to work towards true reconciliation however to achieve this, it is the voices of our First Nations' that must lead the conversations.

Formalising Our Committment to Reconciliation Action

Salisbury City Rotaract on the 15 February 2023 formalised our commitment to Reconciliation Action through understanding why reconciliation is vital to our community and matters to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders peoples.

Diversity and Inclusion Director (2022-23) Damien helped us review data collected at our Changeover in 2022 about what our action could look like.

We also identified action items that support our advocacy work. These are:

• developing a Reconciliation Action Plan,
• scheduling regular Professional Development from people who are primary sources,
• facilitating a NAIDOC Week event; and
• continuing to have hard conversations to educate our Rotary Community.

Every 2nd & 4th Wednesday at Twelve25 Youth Centre (17 Wiltshire St, Salisbury). Meetings begin at 6:30pm.
