Formalising Our Committment to Reconciliation Action
Salisbury City Rotaract on the 15 February 2023 formalised our commitment to Reconciliation Action through understanding why reconciliation is vital to our community and matters to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders peoples.
Diversity and Inclusion Director (2022-23) Damien helped us review data collected at our Changeover in 2022 about what our action could look like.
We also identified action items that support our advocacy work. These are:

- developing a Reconciliation Action Plan,
- scheduling regular Professional Development from people who are primary sources,
- facilitating a NAIDOC Week event; and
- continuing to have hard conversations to educate our Rotary Community.
