As a social service club, Salisbury City Rotaract Club support diverse-inclusive young leaders by providing opportunities for young people to develop knowledge and skills that assist them in their personal and professional lives. This allows young people to have an impact on issues that matter to them/the community, whilst contributing to addressing the social issues and needs in their community.
We collaborate with our community and address its needs through delivering meaningful service projects, striving to support a thriving Salisbury and wider community. |

HISTORY

Our club established in September of 2013, shortly after RYLA 9510 (formerally 9500), where several key players meet and took on the responsibility of chartering the Salisbury City Rotaract Club. We officially charted under President Christopher Mark on the 8th of August 2014, with our official establishment date being 12 February 2014. This was a big achievement and something that our Rotary Club Sponsor, Rotary Club of Salisbury (SA) had been working on for some time and was quite proud of.
We have an ever-growing member population of 20 and have a strong relationship with the Rotary Club of Salisbury and the other clubs within Area 6 of District 9510. Our members are active within local and wider communities and have a passion for helping and making positive change wherever they can. They lead busy lives and are passionate volunteers. |

Salisbury City Rotaract Club would not have been established or continued to thrive without the ongoing support and love provided by the Rotary Club of Salisbury (SA) Inc., our sponsor club. They are truly our parents, not just in the sense that they parented our club, but through our strong personal relationship with them and their members. The work they do within our community is inspirational and of a standard that we aspire towards.

Twelve25 Youth Centre
|
Our club is sponsored by City of Salisbury through Twelve25 Youth Centre. They are a safe space for structured youth focused programs for young people aged 12 to 25 who live, work, study or volunteer in the area. The Youth Centre is built around the success of young people and aims to reengage them with their education and community.
The centre has been a strong supporter of our club since the very beginning, providing a meeting space free of charge and fundraising and professional development opportunities where they can. Salisbury City Rotaract Inc. would not be able to function as successful as we do without the support of Twelve25 and the City of Salisbury. We cannot thank them enough! |
